This is one of the most dramatic settings in North Georgia with the crystal clear waters of Mountaintown Creek cascading over huge boulders with unbelievable white water. The headwaters of Mountaintown Creek flow out of the Cohutta Wilderness providing cool, clear, nutrient rich, trout water.

This portion of the stream is privately stocked, plus there is a good population of native browns and rainbows.
